Our story

We’ve been working in the space of AI change since 2019 and we love it.

From day 1, we could see that increasingly complex tasks were starting to be delegated to AI systems, and the role of AI in work collaborations was changing rapidly. Through our work with clients across a wide range of industries, we have seen AI start to evolve from a technology used as a tool, to becoming an employee’s teammate.

Successful AI driven change in businesses driven by effective  Leadership is what we know how to do.

But let’s start at the beginning…

2018

In 2018 we established Adaptive Change Mindset to help organisations create change that’s better for their people, their business and their world.  We quickly zeroed-in on working with organisations who were embarking on their AI and automation journey, because we saw that the human-side was overlooked and ignored – creating unnecessary fear and stress in the workplace.

2019

As we researched intelligent technology for a product idea we had in 2019, we realised the changes from AI in the workplace would have a significant impact on the Culture and Leadership in organisations.  So we started to dig into building our knowledge and skills and working with clients who were leading in this space.

2021

In early 2021 we became the first ‘people focused’ organisation to be accepted into the Emerj’ Global AI Accelerator Program designed for businesses specialising in AI and automation delivery. This program enabled us to learn from experts who were leading intelligent technology deployments around the world. It also gave us access to a global network of leaders in the field of intelligent technologies.

Today

Fast forward to today, we now have a podcast called Humans & AI in the Workplace. It’s dedicated to helping future thinking leaders get themselves and their people ready for a workplace that requires everyone to have AI Literacy to skills and for intelligent technology to support humans doing their best work.

We do some consulting work with senior leaders in government, private, ASX listed companies and non-profit organisations.  This work is largely in intelligent technology adoption, large-scale cultural transformations, digitalisation, cost-reduction programs, operating model redesign, restructures, process automation, systems implementations, mergers and acquisitions.

Drawing from our industry experience, we know what practically works in businesses and how to create and sustain the engagement of your people to leverage AI.  Our approach is grounded in the latest thinking from neuroscience and psychology to reduce fear, increase curiosity, address resistance and build adaptability in the workplace.  We also help leaders understand how to change people’s behaviours and habits in order to deliver sustainable business results, so that they can continue to deliver strong performance long after we have gone (so they can be independent!!)

We’re always up for a coffee conversation if you have a human and AI in the workplace puzzle to solve, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
